MEET MICHELLE
Hi!
My name is Michelle Hill and I am a lifestyle photographer located in Akron, Ohio.
I think I became a photographer so I could always be behind the camera instead of in front.
I hated getting my picture taken as a child, but as a photographer who has now photographed hundreds of families with little kids, I was not the only kid who hated getting their picture taken. Because of this, I believe (and have been told) that one of my strengths is getting children to enjoy being in front of the camera. I love getting on their level and watching their unique personalities come out. I aim to photograph your kids' personalities along with their (sometimes forced) “say cheese” smiles :)
I am an enneagram 4 for all you enneagram nerds like me.
WHY I LOVE WHAT I DO
Not only do I LOVE taking pictures but I love having the ability to look back on all of the precious memories that were created. Growing up, my grandmother had photo albums and pictures displayed all over her house and admiring all of the old photographs was one of my favorite things to do. My grandmother's middle name was Rae, which is also my daughters middle name. They both have inspired my love for photography.
After my second child was born, my passion for photography grew. Childhood is beautiful but brief and I wanted to document the special (and crazy) moments of my children.
I am truly am passionate about finding the beauty of life through photographs and would love the opportunity to share that passion with you. Whether its life's biggest moments like an engagement, expecting a new baby or just a regular day in the life of your family, I would love nothing more than to capture those moments for you.
